About Hexago

Hexago's knowledge and expertise stem from over a decade of comprehensive research and development into IPv6 deployment. Hexago has been practically involved in BGP peering for IPv6 since 1997 within the 6BONE network. Hexago has been involved in designing network standards for IPv6 and has been an active contributor to the IPv6 Operations Working Group (v6ops) of the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF).

Hexago released a web tunnel broker in 1999 called Freenet6.net. It is currently in use by thousands of users and is now as a service in the IPv6 portal go6.net. Hexago’s first product is an IPv6 appliance called Gateway6 that provide IPv6 connectivity over IPv4 networks.
